APF Activity Camps – Staff Induction Training

Message from Kaz, Director

It’s a real privilege to welcome you to the APF team. Whether you’re returning or starting fresh, I want you to know how much we value the energy, care and commitment you bring to camp.

Before your first shift, you’ll need to complete five essential training modules. These aren’t just tick boxes — they’re here to make sure you feel prepared, confident, and ready to give every child the best possible experience.

The modules cover:

  • Introduction to APF Activity Camps
Who we are, what we stand for, and what’s expected from every member of staff.

  • Timetabling, Daily Structure & Site Operations
How each day runs, your role within the team, lesson structure and how we stay organised and safe.

  • First Aid, Accidents & Incident Response
Including minor injuries, head injury protocols, and when and how to report concerns.

  • Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Risk Assessment
Key policies that protect every child — and what your responsibilities are as part of the team.

  • First Day and Daily Core Tasks Covers the key tasks and routines for managing the first day and running daily operations smoothly on site.

Please ensure all five modules are completed in full before you arrive for your first shift.
We can’t wait to see what you bring to the team. Let’s make it a great season.
