APF SPECIFIC EDUCATION NEEDS CAMP

These camps cater to children with special needs, disabilities, or those requiring specific care. We support emotional, learning, physical, and mental challenges, including SEMH, ADHD, autism, and sensory needs.

TYPES OF SUPPORT

Staff-to-camper ratios are higher to meet individual needs. Parents can book 1:1 or small group support based on the child's support plan. Some children with 1:1 support in school may thrive in small groups at camp, free from academic pressures. Contact us for guidance before booking.

LIMITATIONS

For safety reasons, we may not accommodate children who regularly display aggression, are not toilet trained, or may run away. Please email us to discuss specific needs (kjames@apfactivitycamps.com).

ACTIVITIES

We promote inclusion, encouraging SEND children to join sports, extreme activities, and arts & crafts with peers. Activities include inflatables, scooters, football, painting, clay modelling, and more. Calm rooms are available for relaxation and self-regulation.

TAILORED SUPPORT FOR EVERY CHILD

We understand that every child is unique, and so are their needs. That’s why we take the time to work closely with parents and carers to understand each child’s requirements. From Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to Individual Education Plans (IEPs), we encourage parents to share key details, ensuring our team is fully prepared to provide the best care. We kindly ask parents to email us their child's SEND plad at the time of booking their child onto camp (support@apfactivitycamps.com).
