MULTI-ACTIVITY CAMP FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
Booker Park Community School
Stoke Leys Close
Our camps for children with Specific Educational Needs (SEND) offers activity days throughout periods of school holidays. These camps provide the opportunity for your child to engage in fun and interactive activities whilst in a supportive therapeutic environment.
Breakdown of activities
Sport sessions aim to improve skills of COORDINATION, CONTROL, MANIPULATION and MOVEMENT, much of it taking place through free or lightly structured activity.
Our ARTS AND CRAFT activities are delivered by teachers/coaches and supports art lovers and creative thinkers with multiple options such as such as, clay modelling, paper mache frames, painting and drawing. Our artistic sessions are carefully thought out to make sure they’re age appropriate for each group at camp. Children will get the chance to work with a number of different materials from clay to textiles and, of course, paint, to express themselves and create masterpieces they will treasure from camp.
(Please Note: Some of these activities will be rotated across all venues so not ALL activities will be available EVERY day).
