APF deliver bespoke packages and provisions to schools, nurseries, pupil referral units and alternative provisions that are designed around their needs and budget. Our Director is a specialist in the field of Sport and PE, with over 20 years teaching experience across all key stages. He has proven experience in providing engaging and effective PE delivery.
SPORTS ON OFFER
In order to ensure that the curriculum is broad and balanced, we offer many sports within the fields of Invasion Games, Athletics, Striking & fielding, Gymnastics, Net and Wall and Health and Fitness. To capture the interests of all children, we also offer non traditional sports such as Archery.

Key to the overarching curriculum design, are a range of opportunities to support children’s development in being resilient, confident, and caring. This aligns with a high-quality, inspiring PE curriculum that builds character and an understanding of cooperation and respect.
OUR COACHES AND TEACHERS
Many of our skilled coaches and teachers, are highly educated and experienced in the field of Sport and PE. They are appropriately vetted and required to obtain enhanced DBS disclosures alongside professional development in safeguarding and first aid.
Thematically planned schemes of work are aligned with, not only the PE national curriculum, but whole school INTENTS. Delivery is in-line with the new inspection framework by providing opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect. Fully sequenced curriculum offer covering knowledge, skills, understanding, application, opportunities and experiences.
A Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity (PESSPA) curriculum that builds on the wider EIF context (Character education, Mental health and wellbeing & Personal development).
We follow rigorous lesson plans which allows each child to learn the fundamental skills and implements them into game related activities. We are skilled at assessing each child’s ability and building a curriculum to, not only rapidly improve progress, but cater for their aptitudes and interests.
REPORTING AND MONITORING
We have created a comprehensive tracking, reporting and monitoring assessment tool for staff, students and parents that use a range of mastery statements, Teaching and Learning Progress Grids, student expectation statements and school targets in Physical Education.
