SHORT-BREAK OFFER
Weâre proud to deliver Short Breaks sessions at Willen Lake on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council, offering enriching and active opportunities for children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). These sessions provide families with valuable respite while children enjoy inclusive, structured activities led by trained staff in a safe and supportive environment. Our Short Breaks programme combines sports, creative play, and social interaction to help every child build confidence, make friends, and have fun in an environment tailored to their individual needs. Our SEND Holiday Camp at Willen is specially designed for children who benefit from small group support. With experienced staff and a safe, welcoming environment, we ensure every child feels included, supported, and able to enjoy their time with us.

Who is the camp for?
Our Willen Lake SEND Camp is designed for children with ADHD, Autism, medical needs, SEND plans, or EHCPs. To help us provide the right support for your child, we kindly ask that you email a copy of your childâs plan to support@apfactivitycamps.com when booking. This ensures our team can prepare fully and create a safe, supportive, and inclusive experience for every child.

Our SEND Camps provide small group sizes for personalised support, offering inclusive, fun, and structured activities that every child can enjoy. With staff trained to support a range of additional needs, we create a safe and welcoming space where children can build confidence, make friends, and stay active during the holidays.
Our programmes are designed to be inclusive and responsive to a wide range of needs. For children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we provide structured, predictable environments with clear routines to help them feel comfortable and engaged. Those with ADHD or other attention-related challenges benefit from regular movement breaks, clear instructions, and stimulating activities that encourage focus and participation. For children with speech and language delays, we use visual aids, gestures, and structured interactions to support communication and social development. Our staff are also trained to assist children with social, emotional, or behavioural challenges by using positive reinforcement, emotional regulation strategies, and structured social opportunities to build confidence and self-esteem. In addition, we ensure that children with physical disabilities can fully take part in our activities by offering adapted equipment and the support needed to promote inclusion at every stage.
